University of Baguio to Host North Luzon Leg of Robolution 2026 Robotics and Automation Competition
Registration is now open for the 2026 Robolution Regional – Cordillera Administrative Region, bringing one of the country’s largest robotics and automation competitions to Baguio City this September. Robotics Competition Returns to Northern Luzon
Northern Luzon will once again become a hub for robotics and automation as registration officially opens for the 2026 Robolution Regional – Cordillera Administrative Region, scheduled on September 2 to 4, 2026, at the University of Baguio.
The regional event forms part of the 5th National/International Robolution 2026: Robotics and Automation Competition, a nationwide initiative that brings together young innovators, educators, and robotics enthusiasts to develop technical skills and showcase innovation through robotics competitions, workshops, and learning activities.
According to DepEd Advisory No. 036, s. 2026, the regional competitions will be held across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, with the University of Baguio serving as the host venue for the North Luzon leg before qualifying participants advance to the national competition scheduled on December 5 to 6, 2026.
A Platform for Future Engineers and Innovators
Organized by the Erovoutika International Robotics Academy in partnership with schools and universities, Robolution aims to inspire learners to explore robotics, automation, programming, and engineering through experiential learning.
Beyond the competition itself, participants will have access to seminars, workshops, and hands-on activities that expose them to emerging technologies and practical engineering concepts.
The event is open primarily to elementary and secondary school learners, together with their teachers from both public and private schools.
Registered participants will also receive free training, while professional teachers who participate may earn 4.0 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, providing additional value for educators supporting STEM education.
